At General Moving Carriers, the health and well-being of our customers, employees, associates, and communities is our top priority. We understand the concern and uncertainty you may be experiencing surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19) and are committed to being responsive to the needs of our customers and associates as the situation evolves.

As we continue to monitor developments regarding the coronavirus, GMC recognizes that some of our employees or customers may be negatively affected by impacts of this global outbreak. As always, our focus is on the safety and well-being of our customers, employees and the communities we serve, and our thoughts are with those who have been impacted. To that end, we stand ready to work, and we are taking the necessary steps to avoid potential disruptions of service to our customers.

With that being said, we’d like to advise you of some of the company-wide precautions we’ve taken in order to prevent the spread of this illness. The following measures have been discussed and implemented with all service and clerical personnel currently employed at our firm: 

• If you are feeling sick, seek medical attention and stay home
• Please clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces daily
• Limit physical contact entirely or as much as possible
• Wash hands as frequently as possible and for at least 20 seconds
• We are attempting to keep Purell and/or Lysol on all of our service vehicles (supplies permitting)
