We moved into our new home less than an hour ago, and this has probably been the least stressful move I can remember. The challenges: leaving a large house with a steep and awkward driveway and few points of access, and moving to a smaller house with a lot less space to hold our possessions. But we were in great hands with Roy, Calvin, Rodrigo, Manny and the other crew, who put us at ease immediately. Everyone on the team was efficient, professional, thoughtful and patient with their anxious customer (me), offering guidance when necessary and finding clever solutions to the puzzles of physical space. Really a great team: I felt lucky to have them, and although I really hope not to need movers again for a long time, this is my dream team. For one of the most stressful experiences of daily life, this is the team you want with you.

General Moving Carriers has moved my sister many times. I have been with her on at least three of those occasions, the most recent being this past Friday and Saturday, June 1-2. There is a reason she continues to return to General Moving - the teams are beyond excellent. On Friday, we had Roy and Jamar, with Rodrigo added to make a trio on Saturday. The men were experts in every facet of their work - packing, protecting, physical strength (OMG the rolltop desk!). They were efficient, respectful and helpful in any and every imaginable way. And I could say similar things about teams sent in the past. Someday we will move from our house in Center City Philadelphia to a place not yet determined. And if General Moving is willing to do the job, that will be my first choice. Thank you for helping to make this past weekend a lot easier for my sister. Eileen

I have used GenMove multiple times for our employees & they have delivered each time. Recently I moved within my town & they did a fantastic job, even though it was a small move. Very professional crew. Rugged packing. De-install/Re-install. Binding estimates. Save yourself the headache of chasing unscrupulous vendors who quote lower rates & then escalate.

I have used General Moving Carriers twice. Both times it was to move my parents antiques from NJ to FL. They did such a great job the first time in 2008, that I decided to use them again in 2018! Lona is very kind and responsive and answered all my questions. When I had to move my dates a few times, they were very accommodating. When my parents antiques arrived, 2 of the pieces were broken, but they took those pieces and had them restored at no charge to me. Wow, that was really great! This is a great company and everyone I did business with was really on the ball. They really care about their customers and doing a great job.

As I am writing this review General Moving Carriers is moving me. AGAIN they are amazing in every way. Showed up right on time. No excuses no stories. Guys are working hard with not even a second break. They are taking care of my home like it was there home. I have zero complaints with price and there services. You have to give them a call. No if ands or buts. I am glad to say I never had to or will have to reach out to anyone else.
